Lovely Local Beaches

Each of Incline Village's three private beaches has modern facilities and outdoor activities to help you enjoy the beautiful Tahoe lakefront. The beaches are located on Lakeshore Drive between the Hyatt and Hwy 28.

Ski Beach

967 Lakeshore Blvd., Incline Village, NV  89451

Ski Beach has a boat launching facility, picnic areas, a bocce ball court and volleyball court. A creek runs through Ski Beach with lush grassy areas and trees to provide leisurely shady walks. There are kayak/canoe storage rentals and an easily accessible boat ramp. You can even click here to view the ski ramp web cam that’s updated every five minutes until sunset! The Ski Beach gate is hosted from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm daily during the season.

Incline Beach

967 Lakeshore Blvd., Incline Village, NV  89451

Incline Beach has a nice sandy beach and swimming area if you need to jump in the water to cool off. There are several picnic areas with big grills to fit a dozen burgers on, a playground, and a snack bar that serves a variety of refreshments and beach items open daily during the summer season.

Burnt Cedar Beach & Pool

665 Lakeshore Blvd.,  Incline Village, NV  89451

This beach has a unique layout complete with a smaller, more private sandy area, grassy point, and picnic benches facing the ideal lake landscape. There is a playground overlooking Lake Tahoe and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Like Incline Beach, there are state-of-the-art grills and barbeque areas, as well as a great snack bar which is now open. Burnt Cedar is the ideal place to have a pool party!

Public Beaches

Best Sunsets: Sand Harbor, Incline Village

This beautiful sandy beach is located down the East Shore just outside of Incline Village. There is a fee, but the views of the sunset and the mountains on the Southwest end of the Lake are worth it. During the summer, outdoor music concerts, plays and in particular, the Shakespeare Festival, take place at the outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Lake.

Great for Families: Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Kings Beach

Located in the heart of Kings Beach off of Hwy 28, this beach features basketball, and volleyball courts. Stop by any time of day to jump into a pick-up game of either. The beach is flat with lots of sand and good swimming. Skip across the street for a quick burger and lots of authentic Mexican food. Weekly Farmer's Market on Tuesday, Thursday concerts and movies on Tuesday evening.

Local Secret: Speed Boat Beach/Buck’s Beach, Crystal Bay

This beach is actually located in Kings Beach, right on the state border west of Nevada. Park on the road or at one of the casinos and take the right just West of Cal Neva Resort & Casino. Follow a small road down to this secluded beach that features fun rock formations for climbing and hopping. Dogs are not allowed here.
